About Me

From the moment I got a C64, I started programming and haven't stopped since. Today, I'm a Software Architect, Developer, Trainer and Presenter with 10+ years of experience in professional IT. I've always been passionate about making products that give users a WOW experience. This is a challange because as a technical person it's easy to get lost in technical perfection. So I keep a close eye on delivering the product first, while trying to create the best solution feasible. Over the years I've worked with many technologies and easily pick up new challenges. The last years I've worked primarily with Java, JEE. Specifically I put my focus on GWT since it's inception in 2006, and lately also mobile developement for Android. Most visible related to GWT, are my 2 open source projects cobogw, a GWT widget library, and cobogwave a GWT Google Wave Gadget library, which has become the defacto standard for developing Google Wave Gadgets with GWT.
